Our AI transcribes your recordings, then transforms your words into beautifully written narrative prose organized into chapters. When you're ready, you can export your book as a PDF or order a professionally printed copy.

Absolutely. Your stories, recordings, and personal information are encrypted in transit and stored securely on Google Cloud Platform. We never sell your data to third parties. Your audio is only sent to AI services for transcription and story generation -- it is never used for advertising or shared publicly. You can delete your data at any time.

The free tier lets you record up to 5 stories, use the AI biographer for guided interviews, choose from one book template, and export your book as a PDF. It's a great way to get started and see how LifeStory works before upgrading to Premium.

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's app store settings. On iOS, go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions. On Android, go to the Google Play Store > Subscriptions. Your Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Your stories and data are always preserved, even on the free tier.

Once you place a print order, your book is typically produced within 5-7 business days and then shipped to your address. Total delivery time depends on your location, but most US orders arrive within 10-14 business days. You'll receive tracking information once your book ships.

Yes! After the AI generates your story text, you can review and edit every part of it. You can change wording, add details, rearrange sections, or rewrite passages entirely. The AI gives you a strong starting point, but the final story is always yours to shape.

Yes. You can delete your account from within the app settings. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers, including your profile, audio recordings, transcripts, and generated books. You can also email us at support@getyourlifestory.com to request account deletion.

LifeStory is available on both iOS and Android. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your account and stories sync across devices, so you can start a recording on one device and continue on another.
